Our staff stays current with the newest technologies and local and state regulation changes. This ensures an optimal outcome for your project and makes the design and approval process as smooth as possible.

Mill River Consulting is based on Cape Ann and the North Shore but serves all of Massachusetts. In addition to all communities in Northeastern Massachusetts, we have completed projects for private and public sector clients in towns as diverse as Dover, Westford, Marblehead, Dudley, Scituate, Melrose, Haverhill, Walpole, Lynn, Winchendon, North Attleborough, and many more.

Industry Recognition
Daniel Ottenheimer, R.S., former Public Health Director for the City of Gloucester for 10 years and Environmental Engineer for the MassDEP for 5 years, founded Mill River Consulting in 1996. With 25+ years in the industry, he sits on several state and national wastewater advisory committees and assists state and municipal government agencies.

Mr. Ottenheimer, who holds a bachelor of science degree in environmental engineering and a master of science degree in environmental science, frequently lectures at industry conferences. Among other prestigious awards for his work in the industry, he was honored by The Massachusetts Environmental Health Association as the recipient of the Robert C. Perriello Award, their highest recognition for those who significantly contribute to the wastewater industry and the protection of the state's environmental health.
